Terms & Conditions
A few ground rules for your Little Expedition.
Effective 22 September 2026 · Applies to Gut Rush and this website
Current availability: Gut Rush 1.0 (8) is available on the App Store with ads and optional purchases. Build 1.0 (7) kept those integrations disabled. Public App Store purchases use Apple’s payment system; separate TestFlight builds use Apple’s sandbox without real charges. Version 1.1 adds the analytics and crash diagnostics described in the Privacy Policy. Ad delivery depends on Google’s approval and availability. The terms below distinguish beta testing from public App Store purchases.
1. About these terms
Gut Rush and this website are provided by Tomás Ruiz López (“we”, “us”). Contact truizlop@gmail.com with questions. These terms describe use of the game, website and optional services. If you are not old enough to agree to terms in your country, involve a parent or guardian, who should supervise purchases and online services.
For an App Store distribution, the application licence is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate applicable licence is supplied. TestFlight use is also subject to Apple’s beta-testing terms. These terms supplement those arrangements; they do not replace Apple’s terms or limit rights that applicable consumer law gives you.
2. Playing and using the website
You may use the game for personal entertainment on compatible devices and browse this website for information and support. Do not interfere with the services, submit manipulated scores, attempt unauthorized access, or redistribute our artwork, audio or software without permission, except where the law or a relevant licence permits it. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
Gut Rush uses stylized anatomy and short discoveries to support playful learning. It is not a medical product, diagnostic tool or source of personal medical advice. Gameplay and illustrations simplify biological processes.
3. Testing, progress and availability
TestFlight builds are pre-release software and can expire, change or contain defects. Features, balance and artwork may change before release. There is no promise that a beta will remain available indefinitely or that beta progress will transfer to a later release.
Progress and settings are saved on your device. Keep device backups if you wish to preserve them; deleting the app or losing a device may lose local progress. Game Center score and achievement reporting is separate from local saves and depends on Apple’s service and your settings. Internet access is needed for online features, but ordinary gameplay can run offline.
4. Optional Remove Ads purchases
Purchases are disabled in TestFlight build 1.0 (7). In a purchase-enabled release, the following optional purchases remove between-run interstitial ads while access is active. They do not unlock additional levels or change gameplay requirements:
- Weekly: an auto-renewable one-week subscription.
- Yearly: an auto-renewable one-year subscription.
- Lifetime: a one-time, non-consumable purchase, with no automatic renewal.
The configured US prices are $0.99 per week, $4.99 per year and $12.99 once. The actual localized price, currency, applicable taxes, duration and conditions shown by Apple at confirmation govern your purchase. Prices and availability can differ by territory. Do not purchase based solely on a price stated on this website.
Billing and renewal
In a public App Store release, Apple charges the payment method associated with your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. TestFlight transactions use the sandbox without real charges; beta purchase access does not establish a paid entitlement for the public release. Weekly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal; to avoid a renewal charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Any price change is handled through Apple’s applicable notices and consent process.
Cancellation, restoration and refunds
Manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or through the subscription-management option in the app when available. Cancellation normally leaves access active until the end of the paid period. Deleting Gut Rush does not cancel a subscription. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase to recover eligible access. A pending purchase or Ask to Buy request does not grant access until approved and verified. Refunds are handled through Apple’s refund request service, subject to Apple’s process and your legal rights. Refunded or revoked purchases may no longer provide access.
“Lifetime” means a one-time right to remove ads in Gut Rush for as long as the app and that functionality are available and compatible. It does not promise indefinite operating-system compatibility, new features or operation of third-party services. It has no recurring fee. Nothing in this explanation removes any mandatory consumer remedy.
5. Advertising and external services
Build 1.0 (7) disables live advertising. Build 1.0 (8) and later enable non-personalized interstitial requests after completed or failed runs. Delivery remains subject to Google’s app approval and availability; unavailable ads are skipped. Activated Remove Ads access suppresses those interstitials. Apple Game Center, TestFlight, any purchase service and any advertising service have their own availability and terms. We will describe material changes before enabling new data processing. Read our Privacy Policy for the current configuration.
6. Ownership
Gut Rush’s name, software, illustrations, music and other original content belong to their respective rights holders. Using the game does not transfer ownership of them. Third-party marks, Apple services and licensed components remain the property of their owners. The website’s DynaPuff font is distributed under the SIL Open Font License.
7. Problems and your legal rights
We aim to keep the game and website working, but cannot promise that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every future device. Please contact support if something goes wrong. Where applicable law gives you rights to conformity, repair, replacement, a refund or other remedies, those rights continue to apply.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the game or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so is unlawful, including applicable responsibility for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury or mandatory consumer guarantees. We do not require you to give up statutory rights or your right to use the courts available to you under applicable law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as features or legal requirements change. We will revise the date and give further notice where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. For help or questions, email truizlop@gmail.com.
