A little help.

Here’s how to find your way around the paint box.

Email Popmask support

Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and what happened. Please don’t send your Apple Account password. You do not need to include a photo or face recording.

Get Popmask

Download Popmask for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.

Download Popmask on the App Store

Painting and color

Choose Paint, Marker, Crayon or Pencil, then tap a paint drop. Tap Color to switch between 25 palettes. Tap the selected brush to change its thickness. Draw with one finger or Apple Pencil. Use the top-left arrows to undo and redo.

Pinch to zoom, move with two fingers, and tap the corner fit icon to return to the whole face. Open Settings → How to play for illustrated instructions.

Moving stickers

Open Stickers and choose a doodle. Drag to position it, pinch to resize, and twist with two fingers to rotate. Tap the checkmark when finished. Tap a placed sticker to edit it again; the trash icon removes it. Undo can bring it back.

Saving and changing faces

Your painting saves automatically to the local sketchbook. The small disk icon shows its progress. Open the sketchbook from the top toolbar to revisit, duplicate or delete a painting. Choose Settings → Default face to set the face for new paintings and its matching app icon. Appearance follows your device’s system setting.

The live mirror

Tap Try it on to see your painting follow your face. This requires camera permission and a device supporting ARKit face tracking. If your device is unsupported, you can continue painting in the studio. For steadier tracking, use even lighting, keep your whole face in view and avoid covering it.

Tap the record button to capture a clip of up to 60 seconds. The sound button controls whether microphone audio is included. After recording, preview the clip and choose Save or Share. Exports include a Popmask watermark and a short closing card.

Restoring sticker packs

Go to Settings → Restore purchases. Use the Apple Account that bought the pack and check your connection. Packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. If a pack remains unavailable, contact support with its name and the issue; do not send payment-card information. Apple handles refund requests.

Privacy and permissions

Camera frames and face geometry stay on your device. Paintings are saved locally; videos leave the app only when you choose to save or share them. You can change Camera, Microphone and Photos permissions in the device’s Settings. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions for details.
