Terms & Conditions

Popmask is provided by Tomás Ruiz López. Contact truizlop@gmail.com with questions about these terms.
Using Popmask
Popmask is a creative face-painting app for iPhone and iPad. Its license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These terms explain Popmask’s features and services and do not replace that agreement or limit mandatory consumer rights.
Use the app lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property. Obtain appropriate permission before recording or sharing another person’s image or voice. Popmask is for creative expression, not identification, health assessment or medical advice.
What is free
Painting tools, color palettes, illustrated face guides, saving and editing paintings, live face tracking on compatible devices, and branded video export are free. The eight First Doodles stickers are included. Popmask has no ads and no subscriptions.
Optional sticker packs
Additional sticker collections are optional, permanent non-consumable purchases. Each purchase unlocks the named collection; it is not a recurring charge. Apple displays the local price and purchase terms before confirmation and processes payment. Purchases require an Apple Account and an internet connection. A parent or guardian should manage purchases for children.
Use Restore purchases in Settings with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Restoration and downloading pack artwork require a connection. A permanent unlock means no recurring fee for that pack; it does not promise that every device, OS version or service will remain supported indefinitely. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s terms and applicable law. A refunded purchase can lose its unlock.
Your creations
You retain your rights in the original drawings and recordings you create. You may save and share creations that incorporate Popmask’s included or purchased stickers. The app, fonts and stock artwork remain subject to their respective licenses; buying a sticker pack does not transfer ownership of its standalone artwork or permit redistributing a sticker atlas as a competing asset pack.
Popmask does not acquire ownership of your creations, host a public community, or publish your recordings for you. You choose what to share and where. Exported videos include Popmask branding.
Device support and saved work
Popmask requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. The live mirror requires a device supporting ARKit face tracking and camera permission. Microphone permission is optional for recording sound. The painting studio remains available when face tracking is unsupported.
Paintings are stored locally. Keep backups of work you want to retain. Removing the app removes its local sketchbook; exported copies and device backups are separate. Tracking quality depends on the device, lighting, visibility and movement. Software updates may change features or compatibility.
Privacy, support and changes
Our Privacy Policy describes data handling. Our support page explains painting controls, device requirements, saving and purchase restoration.
We may update these terms when the app or services change, with the latest effective date shown above. Apple’s Standard EULA addresses warranty, liability and termination; nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
